Cyst complications: Was the cyst removed closed with sutures?? or left open to heal on its on??? if it was stiched shut - you need to call the doctor that did it and be seen. If it wasn't stitched closed - then I would try using dilute peroxide to clean the area and antibiotic ointment - but call and get an appointment to be seen - its long past the post op complications time period.

No: This is consistent with an infection at the site of the cyst removal and it should be evaluated by the physician who removed it. A culture may be taken and, while waiting for results, you may be started on warm applications, antibiotic ointment as well as antibiotics by mouth.
