KNEE INJURY: Corticosteroids are generally NOT a common element in treatment of meniscal injury. Orthopedic or sports medicine follow up would be advised to discuss the most appropriate treatment options

No: Sometimes the symptoms of a meniscal tear, such as pain or swelling, can improve with steroids; but the steroids do not help with the healing process of the tear itself.
