Lump: hope you have not hit your head somewhere. if not it could possibly be a infection. see your doctor as may need antibiotics

Sounds: like you hit your head!! A small hematoma (bruise) would fit your description. Were you drinking??? Otherwise. an examination of the lump is necessary as a first step...Apply Ice until you can get that in person evaluation! Hope this helps! Dr Z
