Upper GI scope : Do you have reflux? Persistent foreign body sensation indicates full history and physical exam to rule out thyroid or other structures pushing on trachea or lesions or masses in the esophagus. A GI specialist can put a camera on the problem area and look for irritation, inflammation, trauma, or neoplasms. Stay calm and see a gastroenterology for a workup ASAP please.
