No worries for now: Babies go through different milestones and as they learn new things, they might stop doing other things. As long as your baby is still progressing in his other milestones I would not worry for now. They do go through phases of more and then less cooing. If he stops cooing for weeks-months, then mention it to you pediatrician at the 4 mo well visit.

Can be normal: Hi - can be normal and usually over time the cooing picks up again. Just keep an eye on other things such as are they holding their head still, do they respond to sounds and voices (look around towards the sound) etc - these are the milestones - and if these appear to not be happening then need to see your doctor if in doubt.
