Neck sprain: Possible whiplash type injury. This can take a few weeks to resolve. If you have any weakness/numbness in arms,see your doc immediately.

This is neck injury: This sounds like a neck injury. I'm not certain where the injury is, it could be muscle, could be tendon, could be a bone and joint or could be neurologic. I think this is something you need to see your physician about so diagnosis can be clearly made for your protectionism
