Not wise: If you have hemorrhoids that are often symptomatic(bleeding and/or pain), it would be unwise to further irritate that area with anal intercourse. If the area becomes infected, a painful perianal abscess could ensue. You could also stir up bleeding. You can get expert help with your hemorrhoids from a proctologist or colorectal surgeon.

Uncomfortable: Not dangerous, but may cause more discomfort and bleeding. Also, good to know if you have anal HPV related disease. Your health care provider will be able to determine this.
