You can't actually: feel a lump in your lung. However, there could be mucous or inflammation in your airway passages. This is most likely from an infection, at your age. This could be bronchitis, pneumonia, or a viral infection. Please see your doctor to be examined and properly diagnosed and treated if necessary.

Likely benign: The lump sensation might be irritation of the lining of the chest. It can "catch" at times and that can be the lump feeling you are describing. Soreness could be from the coughing or just inflammation of the lining of the chest wall.
