Discharge: Vaginal discharge is abnormal at any age. It is often a sign of a vaginal infection. If the discharge is bloody, pathology of cervix and uterus has to be checked for. Your gynecologist is best qualified to evaluate, advise and treat you for your discharge.

Can be: The lining of the vagina gets thinner in menopause and this an create symptoms like dryness, decreased lubrication and pain with intercourse...and discharge. The discharge usually is scant, non irritating and clear to yellowish. If the discharge is abundant, smells, bloody, or irritating you need to be examined
