Remove it: You can see your primary doctor or a dermatologist to remove it with a minor surgical procedure.

Excision to remove : Surgically excising the mole is the only way to ensure that it is completely removed. It is not uncommon for a laser treatment to make a mole look lighter in color, but not remove it completely. Depending on the size and location, you can with do what is called a "shave biopsy" or a "complete excision." i hope this helps!

Laser: A mole that has been treated with laser may have had some of the pigment removed and therefore lightened . The best way to remove a mole is to have it surgically excised by a dermatologist and then tested in a lab to make sure the mole is not abnormal or cancerous.
