I have discomfort in my lung for more than a year. went to doctor got no answers yet. it feel as if something is swollen or something in there?

Chest discomfort: This probably is not a lung symptom,but could be from disorders of the rib cage like nerve entrapment, nerve irritability, or costochondritis,for example. Do you have any tender spots or discomfort with deep breath or cough? Esophageal or heart causes would be highly unlikely. For reassurance, a chest cat scan could be done to thoroughly evaluate your lungs.
