Inflamed male parts: Yes. Of course. But, if the infections you mention are caused by sexually transmitted disease it would be wise to use a condom.

Prostatitis: Generally speaking, prostatitis is not contagious. It is possible that an std organism is causing the infection though. Ejaculation can speed the recovery from prostatitis sometimes. Epididymitis is not contagious.
