After a mammogram, i asked the technician how many x-rays were supposed to be taken for each breast. she told me 2 x-rays for each breast. correct?

Typically 2 views: Great question.
Typically, at least two x-rays are taken of each breast. Never less than two x-rays. However, sometimes the technologist must take more.
