I have two lumps in my left breast and they are not showing on u/s or mammogram. i have scattered fibroglandular density. can abnormalities hide?

Lumps: The mammogram and ultrasound are good ways for us to look at breast tissue. Even tiny lumps can be detected. It is more like that you are feeling the clumps of the fibroglandular density. Go for your scheduled mammos/ultrasounds as prescribed by your doctor and be sure to keep a vigilant watch on your breasts.

The combination of: mammography and ultrasound is very sensitive for detecting palpable cancers. It is highly unlikely that your palpable regions are cancer. However, the sensitivity is not 100%, so it is important to follow up with your doctor
