Different meds: As long as the medications were intended to cover GB pain, then yes, the ibuprofen, acetaminophen and opiate are in different medication families. If you are just guessing at the source of your pain, particularly if it becomes severe, should be seen by a Dr to determine cause and treatment needed. Pain meds only cover over the symptom, not address the problem.
