Risk without Benefit: There are no high quality studies on the health effects of taking colloidal silver, but we do have good evidence of its dangers. Claims made about the health benefits of taking colloidal silver aren’t backed up by studies. The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has said that colloidal silver isn’t safe or effective for treating any disease or condition. https://nccih.nih.gov/health/silver

Maybe: I work in a conventional medical framework so we tend to be somewhat cautious. Certainly there are case studies where the silver gets deposited on the part of the kidney that filters. No to silver: Colloidal silver is toxic and harmful. For some reason the natural health movement has glorified colloidal silver as a cure-all, but the evidence is quite the opposite. Doctors stopped using it in the 1970s when it became clear the harmful effects far outweighed any supposed benefits. Please stop using this substance. Yes it will harm your kidney and your bladder. See your doctor.
