Yep: That is exactly what you did and why they tell you not to do that on the box. Try some liquid ear wax removal drops available at the pharmacy. If that doesn't work see your doctor.

Yes: that's exactly what it sounds like You need to irrigate your ears with an ear syringe and begin by using some was dissolving liquid EG CERUMINEX. Remember the old adage ....Never put anything in your ear that is smaller than your ELBOW! Hope this helps! Dr Z
