Hard : Hard to know from this history. A look in the ear may reveal more wax down by the ear drum. Tinnitus, that noise you are hearing in your ear, is often brought on by other problems in the ear. As those problems resolve the tinnitus can go away. If it is persistent, you may need a hearing test and an evaluation by an ent.
