Is it okay to take benadryl on top of trazadone?

Increased sleepiness: Trazodone and benadryl are both medications that can be sedating. In general it would be safe to use them together with the caution that the sedating effects would be greater. It may be best to check with your physician to see if this is the right choice for you.
