Follow up care : It is standard in medicine to have a regular follow up visits to monitor treatments efficacy, any risks that come with the treatment (i.e. Medication levels safe at one level and not safe at another). Mental health is similar to other medical specialties. They require a certain protocol for ongoing evaluation of the patient and of the treatments that have been prescribed.
