Afib vagus nerve: 60 M I've had paroxysmal afib and digestive issues that I feel are strongly related to an irritated vagus nerve. What type of doctor would be best to see? ANS: you need to discuss this with your cardiac electrophysiologist and ask how this can be tested in you. It is possible. But most likely not. More common would be low blood potassium from a number of reasons. Happy to do 2nd opinion.
