Am taking atorvastatin 20mg since nov 2012 after changing from simva 20mg. am having memory problems and forgetting a lot. is it sideeffect of atorva?

May be: I do not like the drug and it does have side effects.

Depleted CoQ10: Statin drugs deplete tissues of coq10 which is made in every cell during energy production. Since the brain is the most energy demanding organ, it is most affected by a decrease in energy production. Coq10 can be supplemented. It is a fat soluble nutrient so is best taken with a meal for better absorption.
