Anxiety issues?: The pattern of symptoms & the timing does not seem to make sense with any organic condition that I am aware of. Sleep paralysis should not cause pain. I think there's some type of phobia or irrational / subconscious fear leading to bedtime anxiety. I think you should see a counselor or at least talk to someone who you are close to about your problems. Do you have a family doctor or use HT Prime?
