Searching for needle: You have raised 3 issues which I will address. PET/CT is not the likely answer to your question to find the cause of Neuropathy....so you may do this test but do not expect a solution coming easily. Paraneoplastic syndrome is a diagnosis by exclusion....I doubt that is the cause of your Neuropthay that has gone on for 18 months without discovering the cause, yet suspecting paraneoplastic sybdrome
