Would a pet/ct scan easily show that a person had a hernia even though the pathologist is looking for a cancerous tumor? would it be noticeable?

Possibly: A hernia is where part of the intestine protrudes through a defect in the wall that usually holds it in place. If the hernia has reduced itself (gone back into the place where it belongs), then the CT/PET scan will likely not show the hernia's presence.
