Discuss w/ Dr.: The more medications, the more potential for interactions. While this combination is not unheard of, the research supporting this particular cocktail of 4 drugs is likely highly limited. Therefore, consult your doctor to understand his/her rationale. Be sure also to ask what steps you can take, including enrollment in evidence-based psychotherapy, to assist in your treatment.

Safe but ask him why: It depends on what symptoms he is aiming to treat. lamotrigine has little interactions with your other psychiatric drugs but one needs to be sure it's used for the right symptoms which are excess of mood instability (swinging from too high to low too quickly), marked irritability. so this is a good medicine for bipolar mood fluctuations but not that helpful if all you have is depression.

Polypharmacy: The challenge is that all of these are sedating drugs, and will have to be managed carefully in order to avoid adverse events. Please be sure at least one of your doctors is overseeing your care to assist in ensuring you maximize beneficial effects and minimize side effects.
