Carotid web: Fibrotic webs and fibromuscular dysplasia, and atherosclerosis in the carotid are a known set of abnormalities that present in late adolecence, females > males. Doppler analysis makes the diagnosis, and treatment is based on the surgical risk, degree of obstruction, type of obstruction, and health of the patient. Balloon angioplasty vs surgical/ vascular endarterectomy are among treatment choices
