I fear i may have mild anxiety, but when i told my mom, she said that i was being silly. how do i make her realize how serious this may be?

Anxiety: anxiety is real and can be crippling. some times parents do not acknowledge that because they think that it cannot happen to them or their kids. guess you need to discuss this with them and may be show this post to them. the very fact that you have posted this question, means it is a concern. You will need help to get over it early rather than wait for it to snowball .

Well: You need to talk to your mother and have her take you to doctor. There is wonderful treatment so just tell her how you feel

Anxiety: We all get anxious at times. When it interferes w/work, school, social relationships, or comfort level then we need to seek professional help. Tell your mom about the impact of anxiety on your life w/specific examples. Ask to visit your doctor or a mental health professional for an initial evaluation. Peace and good health.
