A member asked:

Is it recommended to sleep without a bra. are there any health benefits?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

No: Other than to hold nursing (breastfeeding) pads in place to soak up leaked milk during a woman's breastfeeding months, there are few reasons to wear a bra when sleeping. Another reason is when one must get up and run or fight at a moment's notice. That means soldiers in an active war zone, with medium or larger breasts, are likely wearing some sort of bra while sleeping in the combat zone.
