In general, how is pancreatitis different from colitis?

Nothing except itis: colitis is inflammation/ infection of your large gut or colon. colon runs from right lower side of your body to center and then lower left side pancreatitis is infection /inflammation of pancreas. pancreas is located behind the second part of duodenum and stomach i hope that helps
