Diarrhea: There are many potential causes for this. One of the more common is viral infection with agents like norwalk, rotovirus, etc. Of course, clostridium difficile is also a worry. Would wait a few days and if this does not clear see a doctor. In the interim stay well hydrated. The term "colitis" simply means inflammation of the colon (large bowel) and does not address the cause. Good luck.
