Yes: though of course it is evolutionarily programmed to help you through childbirth by working specifically on the pelvic ligaments. However, you are probably at increased risk for sprains etc. during this time period, both for this reason and because your balance may be somewhat off. So be careful! I would certainly avoid backbends specifically and use extra care in any exercise regimen.
