Interesting: Localized nerve dsfunction due to compression of the nerve itself or its tiny blood supply leads to intermittent parasthesias (tingling). Uterine fibroids, cysts and orthopedic conditions are among the many things that can cause this. I would see the gyn as they are best at doing a pelvic exam and knowing when order studies (ultrasound, x-ray, mri), and when to refer you to a specialist.
