Hi doc, hope you are well and warm...i have a lump and soreness on my right side, it feels like its on a muscle next to my pelvic bone and it feels swollen , would you know what the issue is ?

More info needed.: If it was in the crease between your thigh and your abdomen - might wonder if you had a swollen lymph node - but I don't think that is what you are describing. Can't really say without visualizing and getting more history.

Need to examine: It is not feasible to provide a meaningful opinion without additional history, physical examination and may be some tests. You may take paracetamol for the pain and use warm compresses, If the pain and swelling does not decline in 3-4 days, if it increases, ulcerates, or you get fever, it would be prudent to see your doctor.
