Small intestines: Lesions in the small intestine are difficult to diagnose and often the patient has to swallow a camera like capsule to demonstrate it. Causes of ulcerations there can be difficult to identify. Medications like aspirin, Advil and Aleve are causes. Sometimes the bleeding lesion is caused by a vascular malformation which simply bleeds like a nose bleed. Your gastroenterologist is best qualified
