Otorrhea: Otorrhea is fancy phrase for stuff draining from ear. Usually it's associated w/infection, perhaps even puncture of ear drum, and is painful. Infection: This could be drainage due to perforation of the tympanic membrane. If it is painful, or if drainage is puss, then you should be seen by an M.D.

Ear is blocked. Told it was because of fluid behind eardrum. Was given Cefdinir and then later a shot of Rocephin. The Rocephin made my ear clear up for a day, now its clogged again. Why wont my ear drain?
