BP varies: 62F asksWhy is my BP & pulse all over place? ANS: The goal of the BP control systems is to keep blood flow to the brain and heart as needed. BP varies with every heart beat. 24 recordings show sys told varying by over 50 and diastolic over 20 in normals. I recommend taking each AM before meds. Sit 5 min, take 3 discard first & ave last 2. Track running average. Ignore day to day variation.
