Bronchitis vs reflux: You have asked a somewhat challenging question, to which the answer would be greatly aided by a detailed history and physical exam. However, I would say duration would add a helpful clue, since there is considerable overlap in the symptoms. Speaking in generalities, bronchitis would tend to be more acute and severe, while reflux would tend to be more chronic and less severe, but exceptions abound.
