I was diagnosed with h pylori a week ago started taking antibiotics , omeprazole i feel a little better but still have burning in my stomach some days?

Give it time: Symptoms of Helicobacter pylori gastritis should start to improve in a couple of weeks, but not necessarily in the first week; and it can take a few weeks (well after completing treatment) for them to clear up entirely. Stick with the meds and follow up with your doctor if symptoms continue after completing treatment.
