A member asked:

What tests can be done to prove someone has autoimmune addison's disease?

A doctor has provided 1 answer

ACTH stim: The acth stimulation test is still great. Your physician may be able to assay for antibodies against the adrenal cortex though the test isn't 100%. If you has proven hashiomto's this much increases the likelihood. The real question is do you need to be treated for adrenal insufficiency. Missing this is very serious. Good luck.
