Apply as cream/foam: The overarching consensus among healthcare industry including pathologists, oncology and dermatologists is that DHA is probably safe, CERTAINLY we know, the alternative tanning beds and real sun exposure is deadly. FDA approval is for topical use only, inhaled DHA is thought to potentially cause DNA changes which may increase cancer risk. We do NOT recommend inhaling DHA. Salon workers at risk.
