A day or so: If you used it only once, it will not be detectable in cord blood or meconium. It is imperative that you stay clean for the sake of your and your baby's health. Wish you good health and a healthy baby. For good health - Have a diet rich in fresh vegetables, fruits, whole grains, milk and milk products, nuts, beans, legumes, lentils and small amounts of lean meats. Avoid saturated fats. Drink enough water daily, so that your urine is mostly colorless. Exercise at least 150 minutes/week and increase the intensity of exercise gradually. Do not use tobacco, alcohol, weed or street drugs in any form. Practice safe sex.

Stay clean: The meth exposure will soon disappear but consider this you last time for it to do so. Soon the baby's body will start forming poo and that can reflect any drug exposure back several months from the time of delivery. If you stay drug free, baby is no longer at risk and you would not be at risk of losing it to foster care.
