Transient nerve: compression. Everybody's anatomy is slightly different and your nerves supplying the skin around your hip may run closer to the surface; also more likely compression if you are slender with little subcutaneous fat for cushion. Likely the nerves are compressed, recover, but too soon recompressed accounting for increased frequency.Avoid lying on that side; put pillow behind to keep from rolling over
