Possibly helpful: Effexor is an SNRI used to treat depression, can be added sometimes. Treatment of schizophrenia today is most often using second-generation antipsychotic medications. There are about a dozen of these, and about a half dozen first-generation antipsychotics. The newer drugs have less side effects, but the older ones are cheaper. Consult with your doctor to determine which may be best for you
