Schizophrenia: Please don't stop medication abruptly as you may experience side effects. Also ask your doctor for a recommendation to a psychotherapist who is veteran in treating your disorder. Try to not give up as many with your disorder have been helped when in the right hands for treatment. Best.

Unfortunately: There is no known cure for schizophrenia. If proven to be effective, treatments such as medication are only beneficial when taken continuously. Individual response to treatment is difficult to predict but with persistence many experience relief.
