Hematologist said my spleen is upper limits normal size. all other organs ok. can some spleens vary in size without a serious problem?

Of course: Organ size varies from one individual to another since we are not made in cookie cutters. Upper limits of normal is still normal and would be lower limits of normal. However if the spleen has enlarged since a previous , it would be a case for concern. If you are seeing a hematologist, you must have some issues which you should discuss with the hematologist.
