I have had consistent belly button pain. it goes away when i finally fall asleep but it comes back when i wake up. i have also had sharp ovarian pain.

Exam: Any pain that persists warrants an exam. There are lots of possibilities, but this is a case where you need someone to examine your abdomen and pelvis. Good luck, hopefully it is something simple to diagnose and treat.
