Some variations in p: There is an ongoing debate about this question. In the US, it often recommended that women at standard risk begin mammography at 40 years of age. A recent revised recommendation suggested that age be upped to 45 years. In Europe the Age is 50 years and older. My recommendation is to begin at 40 years of age and repeat it every 12 to 18 month intervals. others may have different opinions.
