1 year: you may have a rectal fissure or chronic inflammation of that area. Usually 1-2.5% hydrocortisone cream is helpful; however 1 year is too long to ignore. Please get examined and treated asap.

Cyst: It sounds like a pilonidal cyst, please research this and see if it is. If so see a doctor for removal, a local urgent care could resolve this
