Any time you do: physical activity that your body isn't used to, it often "complains". Muscle aches and tiredness are your body's most common "complaints" but it can also cause temporary fluid retention. As long as you don't exercise to the point of pain or exhaustion, you can continue to work out. The bloating & swelling should take care of itself Good luck. Dr. Anne
